By the commencement of the fellowship year, applicants must have:
Completed a ACGME-accredited psychiatry residency program by the time the fellowship begins.
Obtained a California medical license. Applicants must provide a copy of your California medical license or a statement affirming your eligibility for a California medical license. Note: It may take up to 6 months to process an application for a California Medical License.
US Citizen or appropriate visa. At this time, we are unable to accept applications from candidates holding ECFMG J-1 or H-1B visas, and we are unable to provide visa assistance.

Passion for public service as evidenced through volunteering, advocacy, scholarship, and other experiences
Demonstrated commitment to community psychiatry and/or under-resourced populations

Achievements during graduate and undergraduate medical education
