Please note this is a tentative schedule. Each fellow’s schedule will vary and may be different based on DMH placement site needs. The core of the fellow’s time will be based off of the following breakdown:
- 50% Year-long clinical placement
- 50% Didactics, Mentorship, Experiential Learning, Leadership Project
Protected Learning Time:
Fellows received dedicated, *protected time each week for seminars, mentorship, experiential learning, and leadership project development – space to grow as a clinician and a systems leader.
DMH Placement Site Examples:
Fellows train at the forefront of LA County’s public mental health system, with placements including:
- Care Court
- Interim Housing Outreach Program (IHOP)
- Hollywood 2.0
